Bio

Vitaly Tsarenkov is a visual artist exploring the human condition through digital and analog media.

He creates paintings, murals, sculptures, and NFTs in a unified polygonal style influenced by the aesthetics of 8-bit console video games, the Russian avant-garde, and technical drawing.

The artist participated in international and local group exhibitions, among which II and III Artmossphere Street Art Biennale (Moscow Manege and Winzavod respectively), series of group shows Collection #1, #2, #3 (Montresso* Art Space), Transit Zone (Perm Museum of Contemporary Art), Wall Elements (St. Petersburg Manege), Kommunalka (Triumph Gallery), and True Ly (Ruarts Foundation).

His first solo show Walk After Dark opened in Mojäk Galerie in Heilbronn right before the COVID-19 lockdown and ironically closed the day after the vernissage due to pandemic restrictions.

During 2010–2015 Vitaly worked at the Jardin Rouge artist residency near Marrakech. In 2021 he took the VCA online residency program.

Artist’s works are in private collections in Russia, France, Germany, England, the US, and Morocco.
